About Me

Who Am I?

Hi I'm Timothy R Wilson and I have several years of experience working in various fields as a Librarian, a Web Developer and a Teacher. I believe that I have taken something from every area where I have worked that I can use in my personal and professional life.

Even though I have worked a teacher I like to think of myself more as a student. I'm constantly looking to learn from others and to hone and develop the skills that I have acquired. But I also think it is important to be able to communicate with others in a clear and effective manner. I never want to lose my passion to learn, to develop and to share.

Education

Education

I earned my Master's in Library Science from the University of Alabama where I focused on Knowledge and Data Management.

Earned a JD from The University of Alabama, and even though I do not practice law, I do believe that I have benefited from the degree.

I ended up graduating from (again) The University of Alabama with a double major in Classics (emphasis on Latin) and English. I don't know if those were the most practical majors, but I feel deeply enriched by my experience in both of those fields and am grateful for the depth and profundity of knowledge that I've acquried about the world as a result of my studies. I don't know if I would appreciate Milton's Paradise Lost, for example, had I not been exposed to it in a university environment.
